Nomad supports the development and management of art collections, including curating, set up and preservation of art works. We also lead on artist mentorship programmes and organise artists residencies and curated art events.

ARTISTIC COUNCIL x NOVA LJUBLJANSKA BANKA COLLECTION AND MUZA Museum and Galleries (NLB Group)

Our president Vanja Žanko has been appointed President of the Artistic Council of the MUZA Museum and Galleries (NLB Group) for the 2026–2029 term. The international Artistic Council also includes Adela Demetja, Miha Colner, Ana Frangovska, and Sarita Vujković, bringing together leading experts in contemporary art and museology from across Southeast Europe to guide the strategic development of the MUZA collection and programme.

MENTORSHIP INITIATIVE x UNIQA SEE FUTURE Foundation

In the term 2024 - 2027, Nomad has played a role in forming UNIQA SEE FUTURE Foundation’s foundation and cultural programming. Together, we have launched a Mentorship Initiative programme built to support young artists, with a special focus on artists from the south-east and east Europe. The Initiative includes a one-year mentorship between established artists and selected young talents, culminating with a young artist exhibition in a relevant exhibiting space and a public art installation presented in a European cultural capital city. The first recipient of this initiative is Milica Živković.

NOMAD ARTS WEEKEND x HOTEL PARK ROVINJ

From 2022 - 2025 Nomad collaborated with Maistra Collection to launch Nomad Arts Weekend dedicated to visual arts, art panels with some of the key players from the industry and fundraising for artists' projects. We presented exhibitions by artists Lovro Artuković, Zlatan Vehabović and Anita Witek (May 2023), Jasmina Cibic and Šejla Kamerić (Oct 2023), Ivona Šimunović and Jelena Bando (Oct 2024). Together with our guests we have raised funds for artists' exhibitions across Croatia, Austria and Italy, as well as supported the production and promotion of their new monographs across Germany, Austria and Croatia. 

MAISTRA ART COLLECTION

From 2013 - 2015, Nomad was asked by 3LHD architects and Maistra Luxury Division of Hotels to develop and curate an art collection for Maistra Collection in Rovinj. This included working closely with artists such Jasmina Cibic, Igor Eškinja, Lovro Artuković, Goran Petercol, Žižić/Kožul, Kristina Lenard and Zlatan Vehabović, whose artworks were commissioned exclusively for the hotels. Since its inception, the Collection has been growing and over a hundred artworks are exhibited throughout the hotels in Rovinj, creating a unique experience for all guests and visitors.
